Low Profile Miniature Clamp Force Load Cell FCCK is made of stainless steel based on strain gauge technology, very compact size with 12.7mm outer diameter and 3.95mm height which makes miniature force transducer FCCK suitable for compression force measurement applications with limited mounting space.Miniature Clamp Sensor FCCK offers 0-1000N / 0-500N / 0-200N / 0-100N / 0-50N five rated measuring ranges to choose from. A Load Cell is a transducer that converts force acting on it into
electronic signal which is proportional to the applied force.The
acting force causes deformation of the measuring element,the bonded
strain gage deforms accordingly which will cause the resistance
change of the wheatstone bridge,under constant power supply,the
output signal between Sig+ and Sig- will change proportionally,thus
the force can be measured by measuring the output signal from the
load cell. Miniature Clamp Load Cell FCCK is designed to measure force in compression direction,outputs
millivolt signal within 0~18mV, and signal amplification may be
required for most applications, a load cell signal conditioner can
be used to convert mV signal into -5-5V, 0-10V or 4-20mA output
which is proportional to applied force.The amplified output then
can be easily processed by PLCs and data acquisition software. The
force can also be displayed through force indicator,force meter FPT
is integrated with high accuracy/low noise 24 bit Sigma-Delta
ADC,sampling speed up to 960Hz makes it suitable for both static
and dynamic measurement;FPT also supports Modbus RTU protocol with
RS485 or RS232 communication port,amplified signal
0-5V,0-10V,0-20mV or 4-20mA is also achievable from FPT.

Output signal of load cell and amplifier:
Load cell output: = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output of Ultra Thin Clamp Load Cell FCCK is normally around
1.5mV/V.
Power supply of Compact Clamp Force Sensor FCCK is normally within
3-12V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the output range of Miniature Clamp Force Sensor FCCK is
normally within 0…+18mV.
Example one: Miniature Clamping Load Cell FCCK-100N with 1.5mV/V
sensitivity powered by 5V DC,the output range is 0mV...+7.5mV.
Example two: Miniature Compression Sensor FCCK-200N with 1.5mV/V
rated output powered by 10V DC,the output range is -0mV...+15mV.
The mV/V output from the wheatstone bridge sometimes can hardly be
processed directly, a signal conditioner can be used with the load
cell to deliver 0~5V, 0-10V or 4-20mA output.
Example one: Button Type Clamping Force Sensor FCCK-1kN working
with amplifier FSC(0-10V)-24V,the Load-Voltage relationship will be
0-1000N compression force VS 0-10V output, which is linear
regardless of the measurement error, 1V output corresponds to 100N
compression load, 2V output corresponds to 200N clamping force, and
so on.
Example two: Miniature Button Type Clamping Force Transducer
FCCK-500N working with amplifier FSC(4-20mA)-24V,the Force-Current
relationship will be 0-500N compression force VS 4-20mA output,
which is linear regardless of the measurement error, 4mA output
corresponds to “0” load, 5.6mA output corresponds to 50N
compression load, 12mA output corresponds to 250N compression load,
and so on.
