Patricia Urquialo's Fjord chair, produced by Moroso, is available in a range of options. The most familiar one is Fjord relax option with half of the back raised. The other options include the armchair (low back) on sledge base and swivel pedestal base. Fjord chairs, beam seating, bar stool and tables, produced by Moroso, are available.

Fjord is a collection of lounge seating, armchairs, and dining chairs, complemented by large and small stools. Inspired by the classic Jacobsen "egg chair", Urquiola redefines Scandinavian simplicity. The essential and light frames take shape thanks to the use of new materials and new production technologies, while the visible stitching emphasizes contemporaneity.

Born in Oviedo, Patricia Urquiola attended the Madrid Polytechnic and the Milan Polytechnic Universities where she graduated in 1989 with Achille Castiglioni as her supervisor of whom she was assistant at the Milan Polytechnic from 1990 to 1992. She has worked with many great talents and a plethora of companies worldwide. This brilliant Spanish architect is a phenomenon not to be lost sight of.

Fjord Relax is offered with a steel swivel base and constructed using an internal steel frame and features fabric or leather upholstery, with top stitch. Relax armchair can also be specified with contrast front/back fabric and stitching, please call for details.
