A normal working car shock absorber can relieve the impact of the road on the car and keep the car stable and comfortable. So, how should we check for ourselves that the shock absorber is working?

Press the bumper hard, then release, if the car has 2-3 jumps, the shock absorbers are working well. After removing the shock absorber, let it stand upright, connect the lower end of the connecting ring clamp to the vise, and pull and press the shock absorber rod several times. At this time, there should be a stable resistance, and the resistance of pulling up should be greater than the resistance of pressing down. , If the resistance is unstable or there is no resistance, it may be that the shock absorber is short of oil or the valve parts are damaged. You can drive the car to stop after 10 kilometers on an unstable road, and touch the shock absorber shell with your hand. If it is not hot, it means that there is no resistance inside the shock absorber, and the shock absorber is not working properly. At this time, we can add appropriate lubricating oil and carry out the test. If the shell is hot, there is a lack of oil inside the shock absorber, and enough oil should be added; if the shell is not hot, the shock absorber is damaged.
