A: Follow Bently Nevada’s guidelines for gap voltage adjustment (typically set to -10 VDC at

the nominal gap). Use alignment tools to avoid misplacement and ensure proper cable routing.

Q3: Can this probe be used with other Bently Nevada systems?
A: Yes, the 3300 XL 8 mm probe is electrically and physically interchangeable with

non-XL 3300 series 5 and 8 mm components, allowing for

flexibility in system configurations.

Q4: What materials are compatible with this probe?
A: The probe is calibrated to AISI 4140 steel by default. Calibration to

other target materials is available

upon request.
