Modbus slavedevices - such as programmable logic controllersand field lO devices - and

the Control Processor(FCP280,FCP270/ZCP270, or CP60) of the FoxboroEvoTM Process

Automation System or VA Seriessystem.

♦ Devices with which the FBM224 can successfully communicate are those which support

RS-232,RS-422, or RS-485 communication interface standards and the Modbus protocol

in RTUmode.The FBM224 supports the Modbus functioncodes from the list in Table 1.
