Product Details

To provide for applications requiring database protection, an added feature of the

High-Performance Process Manager is the capability for Write Lockout. When

enabled, this feature blocks any HPM database changes through:

the operator; peer-to-peer writes

Configuration;TPN writes

The feature is engineer key-lock enabled for maximum protection.

As process alarms occur, they are visually annunciated at the Universal Station through keyboard

LEDs and numerous types of displays, such as custom graphic displays, group displays, alarm annunciator displays, and alarm summaries. They can also be externally announced through customer-supplied devices activated by contact closures at the Universal Station. Because alarms can be reported on an area or unit basis, operators receive alarm indications that relate to only their specific assignments.
