The Dual Channel Shaft Displacement Measuring Module MMS 6210 measures shaft movements such as:axial shaft positions at shafts ends, recangular or conical discs also in tandemcon figurations, differential and thermaexpansions as well as radial shaft posi-tions and shaft bendings. It uses outputsfrom eddy-curent type displacement transducers. These measurements are recommended among andtogether with others to build up Turbomachine Protection Systems and providethe inputs requested by Analysis andDiagnosis Systems and to provide theinputs requested by Analysis and Diagnostic Systems, Field Bus Systems, Dis.tributed Control Systems, plant/ host.
