Economizer Introduction
A boiler economizer is a heating component in flue ducts that heats
feed water to saturated water by absorbing low-temperature flue gas

finned for better heat transfer) have no pressure limits and can be
boiling type, primarily recovering boiler waste heat.

generation. While daily savings are small, cumulative impacts are
significant. They can be factory-installed or retrofitted as waste
