The ET1376215 Outdoor Telecom Equipment Cabinet is mainly used in wireless communication base station, such as 4G system, communication/network integrated service, access/transmission switching station, emergency communication/transmission, etc

3. Features

3.1 The cabinet is dustproof, sunproof and rainproof, which is suitable for outdoor environment.

3.2 The equipment compartment and battery compartment use air conditioner and fans for cooling, MTBF≥50000h.

3.3 -48V lamps is installed inside the cabinet.

3.4 The layout of the cabinet is reasonable, which will facilitate cable access, fixing and grounding. There’re entrance holes individually for power cable, signal cable and optical cable.

3.5 All the cables used in the cabinet are made from flame retardant materials.

4. Description

4.1 Structure

The cabinet, made of hot dip galvanized steel, is a double wall cabinet with 20mm PEF insulation between inner plate and outer plate. The cabinet includes equipment compartments and battery compartments . It is easy for installation and with perfect sealing performance.

Equipment Compartment: The upper part of the cabinet is equipment compartment, which is separated with the battery compartment by division plate, for heat insulation of the equipment compartment.

Battery Compartment: The lower part of the cabinet is battery compartment, which is used for installing batteries.There’s heat insulation cotton between the cabinet inner wall and outer wall for keeping temperature. The cabinet includes air exhaust device for release of harmful air generated by the batteries.

4.2 Cabinet Door and Lock

The cabinet door uses embedded structure. The door opening angle is larger than 110° and the door limit device can limit the opening angle. The lock is theftproof three point lock, supports padlock. There’s open door alarm sensor, which works together with the environment monitoring unit.

4.2.1 Door lock theft proof design

• Damage resistance of the theft proof lock meets GA/T 73-1994 “Mechanical Anti-theft Lock” class B requirement, supporting padlock.

4.3 Cable Inlet

Feeder cable and other external cables all use bottom wiring method.

4.4 Grounding Protection

• The cabinet includes grounding copper bar with anti-corrosion coating. There are enough screws for wiring connection terminals.
• The metal part of the cabinet should be interconnected and be connected with grounding bar. Connection resistance between any two points is lower than 0.1Ω.
• Protective earthing of other equipments inside the cabinet should be connected to the grounding bar.

4.5 Connection and Fastening

• Use anti-loose threaded connection as structure and bearer connection. Anchor bolt for fixing cabinet use hot dip galvanized bolts.
• Door hinges use inner hinge mode.

4.6 Appearance and Surface Treatment

Cabinet surface coating is outdoor special powder coating, with white gray color (PANTONE 428C). The coating complies with GB/T 3181-2008 requirement.

4.7Components Installation

4.7.1 LED lamp, fans, smoke sensor and door sensor are installed at the top of the cabinet.

4.7.2 Water sensor is installed at the bottom of the cabinet.

4.7.3 Temperature and humidity sensor is installed at the side inside the cabinet.

4.7.4 Environment monitoring unit and power monitoring unit are installed on 19” rack.

4.7.5 Air Conditioner is installed on the door of the cabinet.
