Brief introduction
The F interface lightning protector is a design of lightning
protection applied to the antenna feeder system based on the
relevant standards. It is suitable for the surge protection of the
coaxial sky feed system signals such as satellite wireless
communication, mobile base station, microwave communication, radio
and television and so on, to prevent the damage caused by the
feeder line induced lightning overvoltage on the antenna and the
transceiver.

Use of attention
1. identify the input / output interface identifier of the
lightning protector, input the external line and output the
connection device.
2. when a signal transmission failure occurs on the line, we should
find out the reason. If the lightning protector is damaged, the
lightning protector will be changed immediately.
3. the wire on the lightning arrester is welded to the shortest
grounding wire (the wire area is not less than 2.5mm2), the other
end is connected to the grounding bus of the lightning protection
system, and the grounding resistance is not more than 4 Omega.
4. this product for F interface does not apply to the external
interface
Working principle of product
The lightning protection device is based on the principle of
standing wave antenna and lightning wave spectrum design. The main
part is a short rod equivalent to the end of the 1/4 wavelength.
When the signal is sent out, a part of the impedance is reflected
back because the impedance is not fully matched, and the wave will
form a standing wave when the wave is superimposed on the incident
wave originally emitted. The amplitude of standing wave at each
point of the line is fixed first. For the transmission line with
terminal short circuit, the terminal is short circuited, so the
current is large and the voltage is small. For the signal end, the
voltage and the current are small.
That is, the most close to the open circuit of the signal terminal
impedance, so the loss is small, but for the lightning wave because
of its wide spectrum range, and most of the energy is concentrated
in the frequency band below 10HZ, so the short circuit rod is short
circuited to the lightning, and will not invade the equipment to
cause damage.
