The TRSS-RJ45/8 type network lightning arrester is a lightning
protection measure taken by Zhejiang tohr Electric Co., Ltd. to
independently develop and manufacture the network system. It is
suitable for multi-channel network signal line centralized
protection, which is mainly used for lightning (over voltage)
protection along network signal lines, such as 8, 16 and 24
Ethernet switches. In view of the characteristics of the network
system, the selection of high quality and low capacitance gas
discharge tube, TVS and other devices has the advantages of small
insertion loss, fast response speed, accurate clamping, low output
pressure and so on.

Working principle of product
During the operation of the equipment, the lightning arrester will
play a protective role once the abnormal voltage occurs. When the
protected device is running under normal working voltage, the
arrester will not work, and it will be regarded as a circuit for
the ground. Once the high voltage is present and the insulation of
the protected equipment is endangered, the lightning arrester acts
immediately and leads the high voltage impact current to the earth,
thus limiting the amplitude of the voltage and protecting the
insulation of the electrical equipment. When the overvoltage is
gone, the arrester is restored to its original state quickly, so
that the system can supply electricity normally. The main function
of the lightning arrester is to reduce the voltage value of the
protected equipment through the action of parallel discharge gap or
nonlinear resistance, and to reduce the voltage value of the
protected equipment, so as to protect the power equipment.
Use of attention
1. standard RJ45 interface can be conveniently connected to the
front end of the protected equipment. The grounding path should be
as short as possible, and the length should not exceed 1.5 meters.
2. identify the input / output interface identifier of the
lightning protector, input the external line and output the device.
3. grounding lines should be short, thick and straight, so as to
reduce the influence of distributed inductors on the ability of
lightning electromagnetic pulse.
4. lightning protector's input port (IN) is connected to the signal
channel, and the output terminal (OUT) is connected with the input
end of the protected device, so it cannot be connected to the
reverse side.
