Working principle of product

During the operation of the equipment, the lightning arrester will play a protective role once the abnormal voltage occurs. When the protected device is running under normal working voltage, the arrester will not work, and it will be regarded as a circuit for the ground. Once the high voltage is present and the insulation of the protected equipment is endangered, the lightning arrester acts immediately and leads the high voltage impact current to the earth, thus limiting the amplitude of the voltage and protecting the insulation of the electrical equipment. When the overvoltage is gone, the arrester is restored to its original state quickly, so that the system can supply electricity normally. The main function of the arrester is to reduce the voltage value of the protected equipment by the action of parallel discharge gap or nonlinear resistance, so as to protect the power equipment.

Product Installation

With 35mm standard DIN-rail mounting, connecting copper stranded conductor is 2.5~35mm²

At front of spd each pole must be setted protection---used fuse or miniature circuit breaker lightning current SPD protection,after SPD breakdown to short circuit protection.

SPD install on protected line(equipment) to the front and connected to the supply line. A class products install in the building home-entry line hold larger surge current total distribution box. B, C class products most install on the floor distribution box, D class products close to the front-end equipment that smaller surge current, smaller residual voltage place.

Brief introduction

Surge protector is a lightning protection measure adopted by Zhejiang toer Electric Co., Ltd., which is independently developed and produced for electrical system. It is suitable for N-S, NT-C, TH-C, TT and LT power supply systems of 50/60Hz 380V and below, which can be used as equal potential connection at the interface of LPZ1, LPZ2 and LPZ3 area, and its design is based on IEC61643-1 and GB18802.1. The shell is mounted on the 35mm electric guide. The product has built-in failure detaching device. When the surge protector overheat and breakdown, the failure exfoliation device can automatically remove it from the power grid, and the alarm indicator module is turned from white (normal) to red (fault).

Use of attention

1. standard RJ45 interface can be conveniently connected to the front end of the protected equipment. The grounding path should be as short as possible, and the length should not exceed 1.5 meters.

2. grounding lines should be short, thick and straight, so as to reduce the influence of distributed inductors on the ability of lightning electromagnetic pulse.

3. lightning protection device IN as input and OUT as output, the input end is connected with the outside, and the output end of the input end of the connecting device is protected
