Description of Decanter Centrifuge:
Extraction with two phases:
The water is discharged together with the solids from the conic
ends whereas only the oil is discharged from the opposite cylinder
end of the bowl.The oil is discharged from the bowl through two
radial ports on the liquid outlet flange, whose overflow diameter
can be regulated by suitable plates, whereas the pors for the water
outlet phase are closed by suitable plates that convey the water to
th outlet phase are closed by suitable plates that convey the water
to the outlet of the solid part.
Extraction with three phases:
Only the solid is discharged from the conic exit ports while water
and oil are discharged from the opposite cylinder end of the bowl
through two separated outlets. The oil is discharged from the bowl
through two radial ports on the liquid outlet flange, whereas the
water is discharged through two circumferential ports on the same
flange.
Common information both for two and three phases:
Pomace is discharged from the conic exit ports by centrifugal force
to scraper room where lts owns a gearbox to prevent the parazitism
and stop choking.
