Vertical Plate Pressure Filter Working principle
The main objective of the refining process of the oil products and chemical products etc. is to discolor and remove the mechanical impurities (namely the filtering of the fuller's earth or the active carbon etc.), so filtering is the key point. The plate type hermitic filters adopt intermission filtration method. A process of cleaning up must be necessary after the filter residue accumulates to a certain extent, so a filtering system must be provided with two mainframes to assure the continuity of the filtering. During filtering, it is not allowed for the filter cake to be filled too full for it is easy for the filter cakes to be blown dry and be removed when an about 2cm space is kept between two neighboring filter plate, or the residue should be discharged when the maximum allowable filtering pressure (≤0.4Mpa) has been reached.
