Precautions for assembly of components The main parts of ultrasonic vibration system, such as transducer, horn and tool head, are connected by central bolt. 1. Check that the contact surface shall be smooth and free of any scar. If there is any, polish it gently with metallographic abrasive paper of No. 0 or above. It is required to be able to smooth the defects without damaging the flatness of the contact surface. 2. Clean screws, screw holes and contact surfaces with a volatile, non corrosive cleaner. 3. Thoroughly clean screws, screw holes and contact surfaces. 4. All connecting screw holes shall be perpendicular to the contact surface. 5. Before tightening, apply a thin layer of silicone grease (or grease and Vaseline) on the contact surface, taking care not to apply silicone grease to the connecting screws and screw holes. 6. Carefully tighten the two components. Control the appropriate tightening torque according to the specifications of connecting screws. If possible, tighten it properly. 7. If the joint surface is loosened again, no scar can be seen. 8. Touch the vibration system by hand with even amplitude, no abnormal sound, no local serious heat. 9. After working for a period of time, there should be no oxidation or ablation marks on the reopened joint surface, otherwise, it means that the contact here is not good, and the ultrasonic energy is seriously lost here.
