Transmittance and Haze Meter for plastic film DH-10 Introduction
The design concept of the DH series of CHNSpec hand-held haze
meters is to be small and portable, so that users can measure haze
and transmittance anytime and anywhere. DH-12/13 supports lithium
battery power supply, realizing the leap of haze measurement from
landline era to mobile era. The mobile phone applet is connected to
the instrument for operation and wireless control. In addition to
ensuring the stability of the sample measurement process, it also
allows the measurement data to be stored in the cloud, follow the
account, and not be lost. The caliber switching method has also
been upgraded, and the magnetic suction switching is convenient and
simple. Although the instrument is made smaller, it still does not
reduce the functions and characteristics of the desktop type. The
handheld haze meter still retains the standard and measurement
light source that the desktop type follows.

Digital haze meter also measures total transmittance. Total
transmittance is the measure of the total incident light compared
to the light that is actually transmitted (e.g. total
transmittance). So the incident light may be 100%, but because of
absorption and reflection the total transmittance may only be 94%.
