The most comprehensive LED common problems and maintenance methods
in history
LED display screens have a wide range of applications nowadays, and
are highly favored by users due to their seamless splicing,
energy-saving, and delicate images. However, there may be some
small problems during use. Below are some common problems and
solutions we have collected, hoping to be helpful to you~
1. Problem: There is an area on the LED screen where the board is
displaying abnormally, with all the messy colors flashing.
Solution: Generally, it is a receiving card issue. Check which
receiving card controls the area and replace the receiving card to
solve the problem with the unit board.
2. Problem: The LED display screen displays a row of abnormal
colors with flickering noise.
Solution: Starting from the abnormal position of the board, check
if the ribbon cables are loose and if the board's ribbon cable
interface is damaged. If there are any problems, replace the ribbon
cables or faulty board.
3. Problem: There are sporadic non lit lights on the entire screen,
also known as black spots, broken lights, or dead lights.
Solution: If it does not appear in a localized manner, as long as
it is within the range of failure rate, it generally does not
affect the display effect.
4. Problem: When the LED display screen is powered on, there is a
box jumping, and repeated operation is the same.
Solution: Check where there is a short circuit in the power line,
especially at the positive and negative power line connectors, to
see if there is any touching, as well as the connectors on the
power switch; Another thing is to avoid metal objects falling
inside the screen.
5. Problem: A certain board on the LED display screen has
flickering blocks, mixed colors, and abnormal display of several
consecutive lights side by side.
Solution: That's the issue with the board. Just replace the board
with the abnormal display. For indoor wall mounted screens, they
are usually magnetically attached. Simply remove the board with
force and replace it.
