Product Description of Cable Line Tester
This is a multi-functional handheld cable tracking & testing tool, it can track RJ45, RJ11, BNC, with 2 tones selection. Whatever the above info from the manufacturer, from my experience, it has all the basic wire tracking and testing function with low battery indicator, an LED light on the receiver, a simple voltage test. Besides, it has sequence collation including Open circuit, short circuit, detection of cable line sequence. The instrument is designed and manufactured strictly in accordance with the safety standard CE CAT.III 600V RoHS. It can work in a switch hubs environment, but no POE please.
- Cable hunting: Directly hunt the cable with RJ11, RJ45 and BNC terminal and other metal leads through adaptor.
- It can directly hunt cable when weak current equipment is turned on, such as Ethernet switch, router.
- Test the status of telephone line: It can test the working status of telephone line and judge TIP or RING line.
- Test network cable: It can fully test the line sequence of network cable, open circuit, short-circuit, mis wire, reverse connection and split pairs.
- When cable is hunted, there is no strip off cable sheath, which is easy and quick to judge the location of breakpoint in cable
- It provides low voltage prompt function and receiver has installed spotlight
