Measurement principle:
1, light metering system
The smoke density optical measurement system for burning cables or
optical cables under specific conditions consists of a light
source, a silicon photocell receiver and a computer acquisition
control system. The light beam generated by the light source passes
through a 3m×3m×3m smoke density laboratory. A uniform aperture of
1.5m±0.1m in diameter is formed on the wall of the receiving
surface of the light source. The silicon photocell is installed at
the center of the aperture: when the combustion chamber is burned
by cables or When a large amount of smoke is generated in the
optical cable, the smoke particles will absorb the intensity of the
light beam in the test chamber, so that the intensity of the light
reaching the light receiving surface will be attenuated. At this
time, the silicon photocell installed at the center of the aperture
detects the light intensity of the light source and converts it
into a voltage signal. Computer acquisition card for data
conversion operations, and then output through the monitor.
2, computer control system
When the light source is subject to light, the light source is
calibrated. When there is no burning material in the test chamber,
and the light shield is not fully opened, the current light
intensity is deemed to be the highest. At this time, the
calibration light transmittance passes through the detection light
attenuation of 100%; the shade plate is pulled down; The light that
enters the photocell is completely blocked. At this time, the light
transmittance of the calibration is 0%. After calibration, smoke is
generated during the test and the light is attenuated. Then the
data is input to the computer and the data can be processed by the

3, light source calibration
Light source calibration is the process of using the standard
filter to simulate the actual light attenuation of the light
measurement system for linearity correction process, generally use
25%, 50%, 75% of the standard filter for three penetrations and
store the correction results Computer measurement system.

customers.
2, optical measuring device:
A. Imported quartz halogen lamp light source: nominal power: 100W,

B. Receiver: For silicon photovoltaic cells, light transmittance is
0% for no light, and 100% light transmission for light is
completely blocked.
3, standard fire source:

4, Smoke Mixing: Use a desktop fan to evenly distribute the smoke
in the combustion chamber.
5, blank test: burning alcohol lamp to the combustion chamber
