1.Descriptions:

Batten Screws are heavy duty fasteners, typically used for fixing larger timber joints such as decking sub-frames. These screws are also commonly used for laying larger (commercial) decking, boardwalks etc.

These 304 and 316 grade stainless steel fasteners have a bugle head (self embedding ribs), a Type 17 point for self drilling into wood (although hardwoods require a pilot hole) and are usually a 14 gauge screw.

Constructed from 316 grade stainless steel these screws are marine grade stainless steel and are corrosion resistant for all weather conditions. These screws are essential for installation which are within 300m of the ocean, or around a salt water pool.

Commonly Batten Screws will have a 5mm hex drive which helps with the installation of the screws, although some do come with a square drive. All our Batten Screws have 10 TPI (threads per inch)

Available in sizes from 25mm to 200mm these batten screws are perfect for all outdoor installations where a marine grade is required
