Product Overview

The downhole motor is a kind of mud-driving down hole drilling tool. The mud from the mud pump goes through the bypass valve and enters the motor. At the gate of the motor it forms pressure difference to rotate the motor’s rotator and to pass the drilling rigs through the cardan and transmission shaft. The performance of the downhole motor is mainly determined by the parameters of the motor.

A positive displacement motor (PDM) is one of the most popular tool for drilling a directional well. It works by boring downwards and pumping mud through the motor itself. As shown in figure 1, the bottom section of the motor has an adjustable bend housing.
