What is Transformer Oil?

Transformer oil, commonly known as insulating oil, is also called dielectric oil. Its main function is cooling and insulation, and it also has the function of eliminating the arc generated when the circuit is cut off. Why Should Transformer Oil Be Filtered?

Transformer oil is the main insulation and cooling medium of oil-immersed transformers. Its electrical strength and chemical composition directly affect the performance of transformers.
