Post Tension Unbonded Flat Slab Anchorage for Building Prestressed Concrete
Description
Flat stressing anchorage consist of flat working anchor head, working wedge ,flat anchor bearing plate and flat spiral reinforcement.
The products can be divided into two types,VLM15 and VLM13 according to their strand diameters.It can be used to anchorφ12.7~12.9㎜,φ15.2~15.9㎜,standard strength 1470~1960Mpa low relaxation and high strength PC strands, and can be also to 7φ5,7φ7,strength 1470~1770Mpa PC steel wires.
As the name suggest, it is the same as stressing anchorage, only that the shape is flat. Flat stressing anchorage is common on slab on grade, side walls of hollow core beams / girders, transverse post-tensioning on box girders deck and flat slab.
VLM has innovated a flat stressing jack (YDB series) to specially cater to this flat stressing anchorage.

Wedge is made by high-class alloy steel 20CrMnTi. Its form is divided into two-chip and three-chip.
The system apply to the two-chip YM15 series, it can be used for round anchorage, flat anchorage,
but also used for porous coupler.
Anchor head is the key part of bearing the prestressing tension, The round anchor head is made by 45#
high-quality carbon construction steel, and the flat anchorage is made by 40Cr steel. Anchor head include
round anchor head and flat anchor head.
Anchor bearing plate is to transfer the load from anchor head to concrete under anchor.
The method of transfer and distribution of stress affect the anti-cracking and load capacity of concrete.
