Inclined Plane 0-30° Tilted for Verifying the Stability of Electrical Appliance Compliant to IEC60335-1

1. Introduction

The inclined plane is used to simulate the scenario of a desktop that may tilt in normal use, for assessing the stability performance of household and similar electrical appliances which used on a table or on the floor. The stability test can meet the test requirements of IEC60335-1 clause 20.1, IEC60065 clause 19.1, IEC60950 clause 4.1.1 and etc..

Inclined plane is consisted by a surface and an angle adjusting device, the angle is adjustable at the range of 0 to 30 degrees, the rotation speed is 1rpm. The appliance is placed in its intended position of use a plane, inclined at an angle of 10° or 15° to the horizontal, and then rotated slowly through an angle of 360° about its normal vertical axis, during the tests, the appliance shall not overturn.
