Conductor joint protectors (Stiffeners) are used to protect the conductor joint during overhead conductor stringing operation.
The cover joints consist of two pieces of shells which are made of galvanized steel. Both ends are installed with rubber parts, which protect the mid span joint during the passage over the stringing pulleys.
