Four Wheels Mouted BW 160 Triplex Portable Mud Pump For Drilling Rigs
Product Description:
BW-160 Mud Pumps is equipped with drilling rigs to drill holes with
mud. During drilling mud pump pumps slurry to the hole to provide
coat to the wall, to lubricate the drilling tools and to carry the
rock debris up to the ground. It is applied to geological core
drilling and prospecting drilling with depth less than 1000 meter.

Product Main Features
The BW-160 mud pump is a horizontal single cylinder double acting piston type quantitative pump, mainly used for conveying flushing fluid to the borehole during engineering geological survey drilling operations, and also for providing flushing fluid to the borehole during geophysical exploration operations. The pump is small in size, light in weight, and easy to move
Precautions for using mud pump:
Before starting the mud pump, please check whether the inlet and
outlet pipes are blocked, whether butter is added to the front and
rear bearings, and whether the packing is full. When the mud pump
is working, it should be equipped with a high-pressure clean water
pump to transport clean water that is greater than the pressure of
the mud pump to the anti leakage packing, and protect the packing.
The flushing pump should not be turned off during the operation of
the mud pump, otherwise it will cause rapid wear and tear of the
sealing part. The reasonable clearance between the impeller and the
guard plate has a significant impact on the service life of the mud
pump. If the clearance is not reasonable, vibration and noise will
occur during the operation of the pump, and the overflow components
will be quickly damaged. Therefore, when replacing the impeller,
attention should be paid to ensuring that the clearance meets the
requirements of the drawing. The adjustment of the clearance can be
made through the adjustment screws on the rear bearing body. The
allowable suction head of a mud pump is measured when transporting
clean water, and the impact of mud on suction capacity should be
considered when pumping mud.
Precautions for mud pump operation
1. Pay attention to whether there are any abnormal sounds in each
component; Whether the drainage is uniform; Pay attention to the
working condition of the pressure gauge if there is any leakage of
air, water, or oil. If any problems are found, the cause should be
immediately identified and quickly eliminated.
2. The working pressure of the mud pump cannot exceed the rated
pressure of the pump; Check the working reliability of the safety
valve.
When changing the speed of the mud pump, the belt pulley must be in
the idle position first.
When adjusting the pump volume, attention should be paid to the
amount of returned flushing fluid; Prevent false punching caused by
pipeline blockage and sudden increase in pressure.
5. After transporting cement slurry with a pump, the inside and
outside of the pump body, pipelines, etc. must be immediately
rinsed with clean water.
6. There should be no impact sound during the operation of the mud
pump.
7. Keep the pump clean to prevent flushing fluid from entering the
crankcase and moving parts.
8. When the pump is stopped for a long time in freezing and
freezing areas, the flushing fluid in the pump body, pipeline and
shower head must be drained to prevent the machine from freezing.
