Anti Static Storage Circuit Board Strip Turnover Rack
This is an open, fence style rack consisting of a series of parallel, slotted 'bar' support rods. It adopts an all metal structure and has undergone special anti-static treatment. Its main function is to safely transport and temporarily store PCB boards filled with components between different workstations on the production line (such as SMT, inspection, welding, assembly, and testing), preventing them from being damaged due to accumulation, collision, or static electricity during turnover.
Name | Anti static Strip-shaped PCB Turnover Rack |
Surface resistance | 10e4~10e8 |
Color | Black |
External dimensions | 485*175*50mm |
Pitch | 16mm |
Material composition | PP polypropylene, customizable according to customer requirements |
Feature:
Anti-static
Core function: This is the most important attribute of the device.
Ordinary metal frames can generate and accumulate static
electricity, which is fatal to circuit boards.
Implementation method:
Material: Usually made of steel, but coated with special
anti-static coatings such as epoxy resin anti-static paint through
electroplating or spraying. This controls its surface resistivity
within the range of 10 ^ 5~10 ^ 9 Ω, forming an electrostatic
dissipation layer.
Grounding: The rack is designed with a dedicated grounding terminal
(usually a copper core grounding post with a wiring knob), which
must be connected to the factory's common grounding wire using a
dedicated grounding wire. This can safely and quickly dissipate the
generated static charges, providing an equipotential safe
environment for the circuit board.
Storage and turnover
Dual use:
Turnover: The bottom is equipped with 4 high load-bearing universal
wheels (usually at least 2 with brakes), making it convenient for
workers to move the entire circuit board smoothly and easily in the
workshop. This is the embodiment of its value in terms of 'flow'.
Storage: At the destination, it can be fixed by pressing the brake
and used as a temporary storage rack, making it convenient for
workers to access and place it in sequence, serving as a small
workstation.
Circuit board
Design object: It is specified that its purpose is to store PCB
boards of various sizes.
Adaptability: The spacing between support rods is usually
adjustable to accommodate circuit boards of different widths,
lengths, and thicknesses. Some designs can also adjust the tilt
angle for easy operation.
Strip
Core design feature: This is not a solid board or box, but rather
composed of multiple (usually 4-10) parallel metal bars.
Advantages:
Efficient heat dissipation: The circuit board may generate heat
after soldering or testing, and the strip design ensures air
circulation to help the board cool naturally.
Lightweight and material efficient: While ensuring load-bearing
capacity, it is lighter than solid boards, reducing costs and
making it easier to push.
Visibility and operability: Workers can easily observe the card
number and status from the bar gap, and manually take and place it,
which is very convenient.
(turnover) Rack
Overall structure: a complete mobile frame, typically consisting
of:
Chassis frame: A sturdy base used for installing swivel wheels and
supporting the entire upper structure.
Support column: a vertical column that connects the chassis and the
strip-shaped support rod.
Bar shaped support rod: The core part directly supports the circuit
board.
Edge protection/guardrail: There are usually guardrails around the
bracket that are slightly higher than the PCB to prevent the board
from slipping during movement.
