Specialized Focused Ultrasonic High-Frequency Nozzle are mainly used for spraying balloon catheters. The atomizing nozzle is made of military grade TC4 titanium alloy and has good acoustic characteristics. The liquid supply mode of the nozzle is different from other nozzles in design. The liquid is introduced to the atomizing surface through the externally installed conduit, and the gas enters from the nozzle hole. The air flow attracts the spray to form an extremely narrow spray beam. The flow rate is generally about 20-100 μ l/min, and the spray diameter is between 1-2 mm. The median droplet diameter produced is very small. The significant feature of this technology is that the liquid feed is external, and before the liquid is atomized, the liquid is completely isolated from the nozzle vibration. This means that in different spray cycles, spray has higher stability and reproducibility.
