Product Introduction
The Battery Thermal Runaway Monitoring Sensor KGD-ATRS-210 can
effectively monitor indicators such as CO₂ + CO, temperature and
pressure released before the triggering of battery thermal runaway,
and transmit the measurement signals to the BMS through CAN
communication. This solution has remarkable features such as
accurate measurement, fast response time, low cross-interference,
low power consumption and long service life.
Product Features
- For the measurement of CO₂, the non-dispersive infrared (NDIR)
absorption spectroscopy technology is adopted.
- The accuracy can reach ± (50ppm + 5% of the reading) within the
measurement range of 0-10000ppm; the response time is fast with T90
< 15s, there is no gas cross-interference, the ultra-low power
consumption mode can reach the μA level, and the service life can
be up to 15 years.
- For the measurement of CO, an independently designed MEMS
production line is used to produce metal oxide semiconductor (MOX)
sensors. The electronic nose technology is adopted to screen
sensors with good selectivity for CO gas, little influence from
temperature and humidity, and stable detection signals. At the same
time, it can be expanded to detect a variety of other gases
according to the thermal runaway research results of the
manufacturer; the service life of the semiconductor CO sensor
exceeds 15 years, and it has corrosion resistance to silicone
gases.
- The MEMS MOX sensor for CO measurement has little influence from
temperature and humidity, stable detection signals, and can be
expanded to detect a variety of gases; its service life exceeds 15
years, and it has good corrosion resistance to silicone gases.
- The module adopts a mature automotive-grade circuit design, which
can adapt to harsh in-vehicle environments.
- It has real-time CAN communication, and the protection level can
reach IP65.
