BIB bags Breif:

our Bag-in-box bags have the capacity of 2 to 25 litres, with various types of flanges and taps suitable for final different application.

The structure of the valves applied facilitates filling the bags and limited air access from the outside makes it possible to extend shelf life.

Film

BIB Bags have four layers and are made of internal and external film.

-The internal layer is composed of transparent LDPE film.

-The external layer may be composed of two types of film:

EVOH/PE film (ang. Ethylene vinyle alcohol) being a modern copolymer of the vinyl alcohol and ethylene with a high barrier capacity as regards gases and steam. EVOH film is transparent and dedicated for such products as: juice, water, milk and dairy products, cooking oil.
Metallised film is LDPE film laminate with a layer of aluminium between. This film is also characterised by high barrier function. It is recommended for light-sensitive products, such as wine, water, juice, paste.

Raw materials used in the production of bag-in-box bags originate from reliable and certified manufacturers.

There are also aseptic solutions on offer. The condition for sterile bag-in-box bags is radiation sterilisation.

Fitment

Valves/taps and flanges dedicated for bag-in-box containers are characterised by high mechanical resistance, tightness and low gas permeability.

The flange is an integral part of the bag as well as the tap or plug.
