The Full Bore Retrievable Packers are the Test Packer that is a full opening, hookwall type packer which can segregate bidirectional pressure designed for use in drill stem testing, well treating, and squeeze cementing operations. A Packer is essential tool to run drill stem testing for cased hole to isolate and seal the downhole formation.

Before the retrievable packer is run into the well, it should be hung up, shift the drag block sleeve high and lower for may times, check whether the mechanical slip moves flexibly.When starting the RTTS packer into the hole, locking open the circulating valve. Place J-slot in the drag lock(or drag spring) sleeve in the locked position. The slip should be in the shrinkage state.During running into the hole, slippage will tend to set slips and close the circulating valve. To reopen circulating valve when it has inadvertently been closed. you must pick up the tubing and turn to right, then picks the tubing up to the position, which the circulating valve is open. Turn tubing to left to the locking open position. Take care not back off tubing.
