Brief of Select Tester Valve

The select tester valve is the full bore tester valve with lock open mode. The Tester Valve used for downhole testing operation is operated by the annulus pressure, which controll to operate the ball valve.
The select tester valve is composed of four basic sections; ball valve section, upper hydraulic section, nitrogen section and the metering section.

2) Operating Pressure when pressure released: 0 MPa position of ball valve: Closed
The nitrogen pressure after 10minites: 19.3 MPa
The time when nitrogen pressure decrease to 19.3 (2800psi): 19.3Mpa/ 5 minutes


5.2 Locked-open operating mode test( 1^st Time)
1) original nitrogen pressure: 19.3 MPa operating pressure: 35 MPa
ball valve open pressure: 25.5 MPa position of ball valve: Open
The nitrogen pressure after holding operating pressure for 10minites: 28.3 MPa
The time when nitrogen pressure increases to 32.4±0.7MPa (4700psi±100psi): 32Mpa / 15minutes
2) operating pressure after release: 0 MPa position of ball valve: Open
The nitrogen pressure after holding operating pressure for 10minites: 19.3 MPa
The time when nitrogen pressure releases to 19.3MPa (2800psi): 19.3Mpa/8 Minutes
3) original nitrogen pressure: 19.3 MPa operating pressure: 35 MPa position of ball valve: Open
The nitrogen pressure after holding operating pressure for 10minites: 29.7 MPa
The time when nitrogen pressure increases to 32.4±0.7MPa (4700psi±100psi): 32.4Mpa/14Minutes
4) operating pressure after release: 0 MPa position of ball valve: Closed
The nitrogen pressure after holding operating pressure for 10minites: 19.3 MPa
The time when nitrogen pressure releases to 19.3 MPa (2800psi): 19.3Mpa/ 7 Minutes


All the raw materila used for the DST tools will be test by SGS at the thrid party testing lab, SGS made the mark and keep the traceability of each DST tools parts.
