Taking the workpiece as the research object, the force analysis is
carried out. When the angle between the axis of the guide wheel and
the horizontal plane is adjusted to α, the radial direction of the
guide wheel and the radial direction of the polishing wheel are

horizontally with the support frame also increases. When working,
the center of the workpiece must be higher than the center line
between the guide wheel and the polishing wheel, so that the
contact point between the workpiece and the polishing wheel and the
guide wheel is not on the same diameter of the workpiece, so that
some convex surfaces on the workpiece rotate multiple times. It can
be rounded successively in the middle to avoid grinding round
workpieces.
Practice has proved that the higher the workpiece center is, the
easier it is to obtain a higher roundness and the faster the
rounding process, but the distance from the workpiece center should
not be too large, otherwise the upward vertical component force of
the guide wheel on the workpiece may cause the workpiece to jump ,
thereby affecting the quality of the machined surface.
(2) Use high-quality corundum rubber wheels as guide wheels.
Generally, the grinding wheel is composed of abrasives and
adhesives. The abrasives generally include silicon carbide,
corundum, diamond, cubic boron nitride, etc. Adhesives include
resins, ceramics, brass, and the like. The advantage of using a
harder corundum rubber wheel as a guide is the wear resistance,
increase the friction force, and avoid the loss of rotation.
(3) The workpiece clamping is simple and easy

shaft supports at both ends of the shaft into the bearing holes of
the slider, without adjustment and alignment.
