40kA Solar DC Surge Arrestor 500Vdc SPD Feature:
• BRPV surge protective device, protect against lightning surge
voltages in solar system (photovoltaic power supply system).
• SPD is designed to limit transient overvoltage of atmospheric
origin and divert current waves to earth, so as to limit the
amplitude of this overvoltage to a value that is not hazardous for
the electrical installation and electric switch gear, control gear
and etc.
• These units must be installed in parallel on the DC networks to
be protected and provide common and different modes protection.
• DC surge protection device is protect against DC power line
system and other equipment from over voltage and instantaneous over
voltage damage.
• Its installed location are recommended at both ends of the DC
power supply line (solar panel side and inverter/converter side),
especially if the line routing is external and long.
• Widely used in Photovoltaic combiner box, power inverter, DC
distribution cabinet etc.
