• The type 2 surge protective device is applicable to discharge
overvoltage caused by switch-type (8/20μs wave-form) over currents.
• The voltage limiting AC power surge protector is suitable for AC
power supply systems of 50 Hz, 60 Hz.
• The type 2 arresters must be installed into sub-distribution
boards (at condominium into distribution boards of flats) after main
distribution boards containing type 1 arresters.
• It can provide secondary lightning protection (over-voltage)
protection for low-voltage general distribution system of building
incoming lines.
• For proper operation at least 10- 15 m cable or wire must be
placed between type 1 and type 2 arresters.
• The front end of each pole of SPD must be equipped with a fuse
circuit or SPD protection of lightning current of miniature circuit
breaker for short circuit protection after SPD breakdown
• Otherwise a decoupling coil has to be installed between the two
devices.

1. SPD built-in disengages, when SPD due to overheating, breakdown
failure, disengage can automatically from the grid, and give the
indication signal.
2. When SPD is working normally, the visual window will display
green, and red will be displayed after failure separation.
3. 35mm standard guide rail is used for installation, and the
copper multi strand conductor is 4 ~ 35mm².
