1. Machine Bed and Workbench
The machine bed undergoes welding first, followed by annealing
treatment and subsequent precision machining. It exhibits
exceptional dynamic and static rigidity, maintaining structural
stability without deformation. Two high-precision linear guides are
mounted on both sides of the bed base, ensuring uniform force
distribution on the guide sliders. This design significantly
enhances the machine tool’s overall rigidity as well as its tensile
and compressive resistance. The drive system adopts AC servo motors
paired with precision ball screw assemblies for double-sided
driving, enabling the gantry to move along the Y-axis.
Additionally, the workbench is equipped with a hydraulic cylinder
clamping system to secure workpieces during processing.
2. Mobile Gantry
The mobile gantry is fabricated from gray iron (HT250) castings.
Two rolling linear guides with ultra-high load-bearing capacity are
mounted on the front side of the gantry. A set of precision ball
screws and a servo motor work in conjunction to enable the power
head sliding plate to move along the X-axis, and the drilling power
head is installed on the power head sliding plate.
The movement of the gantry is realized through a precision
coupling: the servo motor drives the ball screw nut to rotate on
the ball screw, thereby facilitating the gantry’s motion.
3. Drilling Power Head
The drilling power head employs a dedicated servo spindle motor,
which transmits power to a dedicated precision spindle via a
toothed synchronous belt to enhance torque output. The spindle is
equipped with Japanese angular contact bearings arranged in a
“four-front, two-rear” configuration (six rows in total), enabling
stepless speed adjustment. A pneumatic tool change system is
integrated with the spindle, ensuring rapid and convenient tool
replacement. The feeding mechanism is driven by a servo motor and a
ball screw; the X and Y axes support linkage and adopt
semi-closed-loop control, allowing for the realization of linear
and circular interpolation functions. The spindle end features a
BT50 taper hole and is fitted with a high-speed rotary joint. It
supports processing operations using a high-speed U-drill with
center water discharge functionality.
4. Automatic Lubrication Device and Protective Device
This machine tool is outfitted with a Taiwan-manufactured
volumetric partial-pressure automatic lubrication device. It
enables automatic lubrication of moving pairs such as guide rails,
lead screws, and racks without any dead zones, effectively
safeguarding the machine tool’s service life. The X-axis and Y-axis
of the machine tool are equipped with dust-proof protective covers,
while waterproof splash shields are installed around the workbench
to enhance operational protection.
