In traditional the spiral fin tubes are using high frequency welding, resistance welding and other technology to make the stainless steel fin attached on the steel pipe. These kinds of welded spiral fin tube, the welding process has its shortcomings that cannot be overcome.

While The laser welding spiral finned tube has full automatic welding process,save the manpower cost; secondly, laser welding fin solid and strong, high tensile strength test were qualified; laser welding more efficiency advantages etc.

The laser welding machine is the most advanced laser welding equipment for spiral finned tube . Laser welded spiral finned tube is using a laser welding machine processing. Because the welding process is fully automatic and mechanical, the scientific and technological content and quality of laser welded spiral finned tube are better than the traditional cooling pipe.

Welding method:

A method of laser welding a planar metal surface to a cylindrical metal surface is provided, first placing a planar metal surface into approximate contact with a cylindrical metal surface to form a juncture area to be welded, the planar metal surface and cylindrical metal surface thereby forming an acute angle of contact. A laser beam, produced, for example, by a Nd:YAG pulsed laser, is focused through the acute angle of contact at the juncture area to be welded, with the laser beam heating the juncture area to a welding temperature to cause welding to occur between the planar metal surface and the cylindrical metal surface. Both the planar metal surface and cylindrical metal surface are made from a reflective metal, including copper, copper alloys, stainless steel alloys, aluminum, and aluminum alloys.

Material:

Advantages:

1. the thickness of base tube can be 0.8-1.5mm, and the thickness of fin can be 0.3-1mm, which greatly saves the material cost.

2. high penetration, can prevent clearance corrosion, extend service life, reduce heat transfer resistance.

3. it breaks through the material limit and can be processed with different materials.

4. easy to secondary processing, direct coil and pipe bending.

5. the welding heat affected area is small, and the metallographic changes are small, making it possible to process the finned tube with small diameter.

2.Flue gas cooling and heating in flue gas desulfurisation scrubbers (FGD) and nitrogen removing plants (DENOX)

3.Heat exchangers of all kinds for cooling and heating of liquids and gases
4.Heat exchangers tor nitric acid (HNO3) plants, e.g. for the fertilizer industry

5.Primary heat exchangers in gas heating boilers
6.Secondary heat exchangers for domestic water heating in condensing boilers
