Ship launching airbags, also known as roller bags, launching air
balloons, inflatable marine airbags, air lift bags, and salvage
bags, are essential tools in the marine industry. Our company
specializes in providing top - notch ship launching airbags that
have been trusted by clients worldwide.
Using marine airbags for ship launching or upgrading is an
innovative approach. It overcomes the limitations of traditional
methods like “end - on launching”, “side ship launching”, and
“float - out”. This flexible technology breaks free from the
constraints of fixed launching tracks in side - launch scenarios.
Its advantages of time - saving, cost - effective investment,
flexibility, and high safety have made it widely accepted by
shipyards globally. We have been continuously innovating in design,
material selection, and manufacturing technologies over the years
to ensure maximum flexibility, safety, and reliability.
Our ship - launching rubber airbags have been successfully used for
launching a wide range of vessels, including cargo vessels, barges,
chemical tankers, tugboats, AHTS vessels, floating docks, and even
construction caissons. The largest vessel launched with our airbags
has reached up to 100,000 DWT.
All our ship launching airbags are manufactured and tested in full
compliance with ISO 14409:2011 Ships and marine technology — Ship
launching airbags. To learn more about the advanced technology, you
can refer to ISO 17682:2013 Ships and marine technology —
Methodology for ship launching utilizing air bags.
- Multi - Layer Structure: Our rubber airbags are constructed with an outer rubber layer,
multi - layer synthetic - tire - cord layers, and an inner rubber
layer, which are firmly vulcanized together. More layers are added
at the end shoulders for enhanced durability.
- Reinforcement with Synthetic - Tire - Cord Layers: The synthetic - tire - cord layer is the key reinforcement part
of the airbags. Made of rubber - coated synthetic - tire - cord
fabrics, these layers are twined at ideal angles using our unique
and patented "Holistic Wrapping Technology". We use 1400 dtex/2 or
1400 dtex/3 type synthetic - tire - cord fabric. The warp has over
95 cords per 100 mm in width, and the breaking strength is more
than 310 N per cord, far exceeding the ISO 14409 standard.
- High - Performance Inner and Outer Rubber: Before production, the outer and inner rubber layers are
rigorously tested to meet international standards. The outer rubber
layer protects the cord layers from abrasion and external forces.
It has excellent tensile and tear strength, enabling it to
withstand various weather conditions and heavy usage. The
performance of our rubber material meets or exceeds the following
standards:
Test Item | Value | Standard |
---|
Tensile Strength, Mpa | ≥18 | ISO 37 |
Elongation at break, % | ≥400 | ISO 37 |
Hardness, ° (Shore A) | 60±10 | ISO 7619 - 1 |
Tear Strength, N/cm | ≥400 | ISO 34 - 1 |
Compression set, % (70℃±1℃,22h) | ≤30 | ISO 815 - 1 |
Holding of pull lengthening, % | ≥80 | ISO 188 |
Holding of elongation at break, % | ≥80 | ISO 188 |
Change of hardness, ° (Shore A) | ≤8 | ISO 7619 - 1 |
Static ozone aging at 40℃ x 96h, extension 20% | No crack | ISO 1431 - 1 |
- Classification:
- QP - Ordinary airbag: With 3, 4, or 5 cord fabric layers.
- QG - high - bearing capacity airbag: With 6, 7, or 8 layers of cord fabric.
- QS - Superhigh - bearing capacity airbag: With 9, 10, or more layers of cord fabrics.
- For example, QG6/1.5x15 means 6 layers of cord fabric + 1 rubber
layer, with a diameter of 1.5m and an effective length of 15m.
- Specifications:
- You can choose the required diameter (ranging from 0.5 ~ 3m, or
customized) and effective length (ranging from 1 ~ 32m, or
customized) to meet your specific project needs. The total length
can also be customized, typically ranging from 1.2 ~ 35m. The
loading capacity can be 10 ~ 40 ton/m, or customized according to
your requirements.
Our airbags come with a full set of high - quality end fittings,
including:
