Details of Application
Utilize ship launching airbags for buoyancy-assisted salvage. Ship
launching airbags can generate substantial buoyancy and strong
load-bearing capacity and have been widely employed in the rescue
of stranded ships and other fields of floatation and salvage. As a
good protection device, the ship launching airbag will play a
significant role as an important tool in emergencies.
The ship uses marine launching airbags for discharging and
launching. The ship uses marine launching airbags as the main tool,
is supported on the marine launching airbags, and is moved from the
repair site into the water area or from the water area to the
shore. By taking advantage of the low inflation pressure of ship
launching airbags, large bearing area, and the characteristic of
easy rolling after large deformation, the ship is first lifted from
the pier and placed on the ship launching airbag, and then pulled
by a steel cable and with the rolling of the ship launching airbag,
enabling the ship to slowly slide into the water.
Product Brief Introduction
Product Description
We are experts in marine airbags and fenders. Marine airbags are
widely used in ship launching and docking in shipyards, especially
in small and medium-sized shipyards along riversides and coasts in
American and Asian countries. Marine airbags are also known as
shipping launching airbags, indicating that the most popular
application of airbags is for ship launching. It is estimated that
more than 80% of newly built ships with a deadweight tonnage below
60,000 are launched using marine airbags. This flexible launching
technology is highly versatile and helps companies in the building
and marine industries save effort, time, workload, and investment.
Structure
The airbag body is composed of an inner rubber layer, reinforced
cord layers, and an outer rubber layer. All these layers are
vulcanized together. The outer skin rubber compound is designed and
manufactured to withstand strenuous use, including abrasion during
adverse weather conditions, while protecting the cord layers and
inner rubber. The synthetic cord layers are arranged and designed
to evenly distribute loads and stresses, thus maintaining the
internal air pressure of the fender. The inner rubber layer seals
pressurized air inside marine airbags.
Qingdao Luhang uses natural rubber and nylon cord as raw materials.
The synthetic cord layer is made of rubber and synthetic tyre cord
fabric.
Material and Accessory
Our company has 30 years of experience in rubber formulation and
has a unique airbag rubber formula. We will adjust the formula
according to the season and humidity. For example, in summer, the
proportion of materials such as carbon black will be increased to
maintain the hardness and wear resistance of the airbag. A rubber
performance inspection will be conducted after each adjustment to
the formula, and a rubber performance inspection will be conducted
every seven days when the formula remains unchanged. Other
manufacturers' formulas are prone to adulteration with recycled
rubber. Our company promises never to use recycled rubber; all use
natural rubber, butadiene rubber, and styrene-butadiene rubber with
excellent performance.
