The TNC series represents a threaded iteration of the BNC connector, characterized by its screw-thread mating design. These compact, threaded, and waterproof units consistently maintain a 50 Ohm impedance across a frequency range extending from DC to 11 GHz. The product line includes two primary variants: standard and reverse polarity connectors. Despite being constructed from lower-cost die-cast and molded materials, these connectors are optimized for commercial use, offering reliable performance in various applications. Notably, they excel in antenna connections and are prevalent in avionics, communications, and diverse industrial sectors. Additionally, reverse polarity and 75 Ohm versions of the TNC connectors are also offered to accommodate specific requirements.
