K2.92 Female 4-hole Flange Stainless Steel RF Coax Connector for MF30/MF30A/TLL40-1130A Cable
The BNC connector, also known as the Bayonet Neill-Concelman, is a miniature quick connect/disconnect RF (Radio Frequency) connector designed for use with coaxial cables. It features two bayonet lugs on the female connector, allowing for a quick connection by only rotating the coupling nut a quarter turn. BNC connectors are particularly well-suited for terminating miniature to subminiature coaxial cables, such as RG-58, RG-59, RG-179, and RG-316. These connectors are commonly found in radio, television, and other RF electronic equipment, test instruments, video signals, and were historically popular in 10BASE2 computer networks. BNC connectors are manufactured to match either a 50 ohm or 75 ohm characteristic impedance of the cable. They perform well in lower microwave frequency applications, including monitors, LANs (Local Area Networks), telecommunication devices, and test equipment. Designed according to MIL-C-39012/16-24l standards, these connectors feature a bayonet structure for coupling mating and can be interchangeably used with internationally available counterparts. They offer rapid engagement and disengagement capabilities, making them ideal for connecting coaxial cables in radio equipment and instruments.

Structural Features
Size and Design: The outer conductor diameter of the K2.92
connector is 2.92mm, with a design characteristic impedance of 50Ω.
Its structural design allows it to maintain high-performance
transmission effects in extremely small sizes. Due to its small
size and light weight, the K2.92 connector has obvious advantages
in application scenarios that require space saving and weight
reduction .
Compatibility: The K-type connector has a similar interface design
to SMA and 3.5mm connectors and can be interchanged with them.
Although these three connectors have consistency in the dimensions
of their male and female parts, allowing for interconnection
without transitions, long-term use of different connectors
interchangeably may affect transmission performance and test
accuracy, and should be avoided as much as possible .
Application:
Testing Instruments
Precision Measurement: In the field of testing instruments,
especially millimeter wave test equipment, the application of the
K2.92 connector is very widespread. Its high precision and
high-frequency characteristics make it the preferred connection
solution for precision measurement and data analysis .
Laboratory Use: Many laboratories use K2.92 connectors for the
construction and connection of experimental equipment because of
their stable performance and convenient operation .
