Below construction are also commonly used around the world.
A) Duplex Service Drop
Applications:To supply 120 volt aerial service for temporary
service at construction sites,outdoor or street lighting . For
service at 600 volts or lower at a conductor temperature of 75
maximum.
B) Triplex Service Drop
Applications: To supply power from the ulility`s lines to the
consumer`s weatherhead. For service at 600 volts or less(phase to
phase ) at a conductor temperature of 75 maximum for PE insulation
or 90 maximum for XLPE insulation .
3 cores consisting of standard aluminium conductors, insulated with
XLPE insulation
+ One sheath lighting aluminium conductor with XLPE
insulation(optional)
+ One messenger Al-alloy conductor (bare or covered)
The messenger conductor can be of galvanised steel wire also.
The purpose of messenger wire is
A) It acts as load bearing wire.
B) It acts as earth or neutral conductor.
It meets or exceeds the following specifications:
C ) Quadruplex Service Drop
Applications: Used to supply 3 phase power , usually from a
pole-mounted transformer to the use`s servic head where connection
to the service entance cable is made . To be used at voltages of
600 volts or less phase to phase and at conductor temperature not
to exceed 75 for PE insulated conductors or 90 for XLPE insulated
conductors.
Overhead insulated cables' main features
1. High power supply reliability. The use of overhead cable can
greatly reduce all kinds of short-circuit faults (especially the
common flashover faults of overhead bare conductor), and the fault
rate is 4-6 times lower than that of overhead bare conductor.
2. Good power supply security. When the overhead cable is
energized, when the human body or other animals accidentally touch
the cable insulation surface, as long as the cable is not broken
down, it will not cause harm to people and animals.
3. Convenient erection and maintenance. Overhead cables can be
erected on any kind of pole and tower or along the wall. In special
cases, they can also pass through the trees and be directly fixed
on the tree pole with hardware. There is no need for special patrol
inspection, and there will be no short-circuit tripping accident
due to branch flashover, littering by residents, or false collision
of crane boom, which greatly reduces the maintenance and overhaul
of the line.
4. Reasonable economy. Although the overhead cable is more
expensive than the overhead bare conductor, it is cheaper than the
ordinary underground installation cable. Therefore, although the
one-time investment of overhead cable is slightly higher, combined
with other factors, its operation cost will be significantly lower
than that of overhead bare conductor.
Aerial insulated cable's Advantage
The hard aluminum wire structure has the advantages of light weight, moderate tension, easy bending of cable, convenient installation and low project cost. It can be easily installed on the existing pole and tower. Generally, it is used in reconstruction or new construction projects.

After you pay the freight charge and send us confirmed files, the
samples will be ready for delivery in 3-7 days. The samples will be
sent to you via express and arrive in 3~7 days. You can use your
own express account or prepay us if you do not have an account.

We normally accept T/T 30% deposit, 70% balance before delivery as
the main payment terms, and other payment can also be negotiated.
