Instead of costly, across-the-board upgrades, media converters can
extend the productive life of the existing cabling as well as the
active equipment.The electrical interface will Auto-Negotiate to a
10 Mbps, or 100 /1000Mbps Ethernet rate without any adjustments.
The optical interface operates at a 1000Mbps Ethernet rate. LED
indicators are provided for rapidly ascertaining equipment
operating status.By using switching and store-and-forward technology to enable data
before the two network connections to the media.
Features:
1. Supports 10/100/1000Base-T, 1000Base-X protocol.
2. Flow control for full duplex and half duplex.
3. Supports up to 10k byte JUMBO frame.
4. Supports Fiber Port Trunking, Increasing Fiber Channel Bandwidth
and Supply Fiber Channel Redundancy.
5. Supports Ports Based VLANS and TAG Based VLANS.

Installation
a. Turn off the power of the device/station in the network in which the media converter will be installed.
b. Ensure that there is no activity in the network.
c. Attach fiber cable from the media converter to the fiber network. The fiber connections must be Matched-Transmit socket to receive socket
d. Attach a UTP cable from the 1000Base-Tx network to the RJ-45 port on the product
e. Connect the power cord to the media converter and check if the power LED lights up. The TP Link and FX link LED will light when all the cable connections are satisfactory.
f. Turn on the power of the device/station.
Packing & Delivery
