The biopsy bags are ideal for use when processing small biopsies. They provide high fluid exchange and tissue safety during preservation and fixation.The fixative solution and specimen can be poured into the bag, which then filters the fixative and leaves the biopsies inside. The bag is then sealed, placed in a biopsy cassette and processed as usual.

Share Filters' nylon biopsy bag is made from precise nylon PA6 filter mesh, the mesh opening available from 100μm to 300μm, and other custom specified microns are available. Nylon filter mesh is the most popular and economical synthetic filtration mesh. Manufactured from solvent resistant nylon, Share Filters’ Biopsy Bags are suitable for processing small biopsy and histological specimens. The thin mesh (0.2 x 0.2mm) provides excellent fluid exchange and avoids small sample loss. Each convenient peel-open bag allows for placing and removing specimens rapidly.

Using Instruction:

• Put the specimen in the bag and fold its end;
• Put it in a standard biopsy cassette, proceed as a usual processing;
• After processing, extract the bag from the cassette, open it with care peeling the edges;
• Extrac the specimen and embed it in a paraffin.
