Biodegradable and Compostable Products
BAGEASE's biodegradable and compostable products are made out of
PLA,which takes annually renewable resources – corn, cassava and other plants as raw
material. After fermentation by microorganisms, lactic acid will be
extracted, then PLA willbe produced through a process of refining, dehydration polymerization, high temperature pyrolysis and final polymerization.
PLA has excellent biodegradable property. After disposal, within
one year, it can be degraded into carbon dioxide and water by microorganisms in the soil, and do no
harm to our environment.
Our products come from renewable sources, are fully compostable
with a shelf-life of up to 12 months from production. It is superior clarity to show the quality of your
products
The PLA can be 100% biodegraded within 180day under composting
condition with final outcome of CO2 and H2O.
Genarally, it takes about 2-5years for PLA to degrade in landfill.
