1. Hydraulic bulging
Three - way hydraulic bulging is a forming process of expanding
branch pipe by axial compensation of metal material.The process is
to use a special hydraulic machine, and the diameter of the tee
tube blank is equal to the injection of liquid, through the two
horizontal side cylinders of the hydraulic machine synchronous
movement of extrusion tube blank, the volume of the tube blank
after extrusion becomes smaller, the liquid in the tube blank with
the tube blank volume becomes smaller and the pressure increases,
when reaching the three-way branch pipe expansion required
pressure,Under the double action of liquid pressure in side
cylinder and tube billet, the metal material flows along the inner
cavity of mould and expands out the branch tube.
The hydraulic bulging process of tee can be formed at one time, and
the production efficiency is higher.The head and shoulder wall
thickness of tee were increased.
Due to the large equipment tonnage required by the hydraulic
bulging process of seamless tee, it is mainly used for the
manufacture of standard wall thickness tee less than DN400 in
China.Its suitable forming materials for cold hardening tendency is
relatively low low carbon steel, low alloy steel, stainless steel,
including some non-ferrous metal materials, such as copper,
aluminum, titanium, etc..
