- 3.5 hot gas sol prefabricated fire extinguishing system
- 3.5.1 the fire-extinguishing design density of the hot-air sol
prefabricated fire-extinguishing system shall not be less than 1.3
times of the fire-extinguishing density.
- 3.5.2 the fire-extinguishing density of type S and type K thermal
sol for solid surface fires is 100g/m.3.5.3 for electrical
equipment fire in places such as communication room and computer
room, the fire-extinguishing design density of type S hot gas sol
shall not be less than 130g/m.
- 3.5.4 in case of fire in cable tunnel (sandwich, well) and
self-provided generator room, the fire-extinguishing design density
of type S and type K hot gas sol shall not be less than
140g/m.2.6.2 in telecommunication room, computer room, such as
protection zone, agent application time should not be greater than
90 s, nozzle temperature should not be greater than 150 ℃;In other
protection zone, the discharge time should not be more than 120 s,
nozzle temperature should not be greater than 180 ℃.
- 3.5.6 the fire-extinguishing density of type S and type K thermal
sol against other combustibles shall be determined by test.
- 3.5.7 the fire-extinguishing density of other types of hot gas sol
shall be determined by test.
- 3.5.8 the immersion time of fire fighting shall comply with the
following provisions:1 wood, paper, fabric and other solid surface
fire, should use 20min;Fire in communication room, computer room
and other protective areas and other solid surface fires shall be
carried out for 10min.
Multiple action mechanism of aerosol fire extinguishing process
The metal salt particles in fire extinguishing agent occur hot
melting ,gasification, and other physical endothermic processes at
high temperature and absorb a lot of heat, and quickly reduce the
flame temperature.
- Gaseous chemical inhibition
Under the action of heat, the metal ions that produced by the
decomposition of the extinguishing agent or the cations which lost
its electrons can react with the active groups in the combustion
process and consume a large number of active groups repeatedly,
thus reducing the combustion free radicals.
- Solid chemical inhibition
The particles in the fire extinguishing agent are small and
numerous. They have large surface area and surface energy which can
adsorb the active groups in combustion and produce chemical action.
They consume a large number of active groups and reduce the burning
free radicals.
- Lowering concentration of oxygen
A large number of inert gases such as N and CO produced by
extinguishing agent can reduce the oxygen concerntration in
combustion and prevent furrther combustion.
