The instruction covers the application requirment of ANSI C136.41-2013 dimming receptacles used for road and area lighting . All contacts are pre-installed into the receptacle housing , and pre-crimped with 30CM lead wire , with 14AWG standard wire used on three-line voltage AC circuits and 18AWG wire used in four-way signal dimming control . Ambient temperature of the application is -40 to 70 degrees , suitable for outdoor lamps which require different temperature. There are 4 dimming contacts in the receptacle assembly.


Install the on the surface of the lamp housing. It is recommended to seal the surface between the receptable components and the lamp housing to realize the water resistance. The receptacle housing has two mounting holes that can accept #8 flat-head groove screws. The appropriate length and type of screws musr be determined by the luminaire manufacturer.Depending on the type of gasket used and the type of screw installed, the installer needs to determine the torque of the mounting screw to ensure a waterproof seal between the receptacle and the lamp housing .
