Description:
SMD fuse is surface-mount metal oxide varistors that are used in
applications requiring hi-energy and transient current capability.
The AC rated parts are designed to operate continuously across AC
power lines. The DC rated parts are suitable for automotive
applications, and the series comprises a Nylon molded package with
folded tin plated metal leads for soldering to a PCB. SMD fuse is a
kind of the voltage sensitive resistor, symmetrical volt-ampere
characteristics, its value as the voltage rises is nonlinear, when
the voltage within a certain range to rise further, the phenomenon
of "short circuit" more intense. According to the fuse speed, SMD
fuses can be devided into five types: special slow fuse (generally
expressed by TT), slow fuse (generally expressed by T), medium fuse
(generally expressed by M), fast fuse (generally expressed by F)
and special fast fuse (generally expressed by FF).
