Fiber optic transceiver consists of optoelectronic components, functional circuits and optical interfaces. The optoelectronic component include two parts: transmitting and receiving. The transmitting part is: input electric signal with certain code rate, processed by internal drive chip and drive LD or light emitting diode (LED) emitting light and send modulation optical signal with corresponding rate, it is with internal automatic control circuit for optical power and it ensure the stable power of output optical signal. The receiving part is that a optical signal with certain bit rate is input into the module and converted into an electric signal via an optical detection diode. Output electrical signals with corresponding bit rate via amplifier, generally the output signal is PECL level. At the same time, an alarm signal is output when the input light power is less than a certain value.
